Diuna Group, a language solutions provider based in Poland, announced it had completed the acquisition of Intertext in March 2025.
Founded by Piotr Kolasa, Diuna Group has been in business since 2009, focusing initially on intellectual property translations and adding to its offerings over the years, including translation, localization, interpreting, data gathering and annotation, AI test evaluation, and other services.
In 2024, the company also acquired language school Yellow – Centrum Języków Obcych, boosting its language training and evaluation offering, as well as ePAROLE, a translation company.
Founded by Beata Kander in 1989, Intertext is well-known in the Polish translation market. Diuna Group’s founder Kolasa first met Kander at POLOT, the Polish Association of LSPs, in 2019. Agata Rybacka, General Manager at Diuna, Iwona Sewastynowicz, Managing Director of Intertext, and Kolasa all served as Directors on the first POLOT Management Board.
Negotiations between Diuna and Intertext began in May 2022, a time when no agreement was reached. Intertext presented a proposal to Diuna again in late 2024 with Sewastynowicz acting as the lead negotiator, and this time, the parties found common ground, and an agreement was successfully executed on March 10, 2025.

The acquisition is considered a strategic move by Diuna, augmenting the company’s portfolio of services and markets, especially in the global consulting, pharmaceutical, and legal sectors. Diuna Group intends to continue growing its presence in all these areas, building momentum for future investments.
The acquisition also places Diuna among the top three Polish-owned LSPs on the market. Kolasa shared with Slator that “the structure of both companies allows for immediate cost synergies, with savings introduced from day one. The accumulated profit will be reinvested in technological development and further M&As.”
The Management Board of the combined company will now include Kolasa and Iwona Sewastynowicz, long-time Managing Director of Intertext, who will succeed Agata Rybacka as Managing Director, assuming responsibility for Strategy, Development, and Client Relations.
The company’s team now consists of 33 FTEs, with Intertext’s staff expected to reinforce Diuna Group’s internal translation department, R&D tech team, and sales department. Intertext will operate as Intertext Diuna LSP Sp. z o.o. until the merger process with Diuna Group is fully complete.
Besides growing in the key verticals mentioned above, Diuna Group anticipates the next phase of strategic growth with a strong focus on digital transformation and expansion of value-added services. Revenues for 2025 are projected to exceed PLN 15m (USD 3.9m).
