All of the major projects I have worked on in that capacity were full-time commitments that required me to work as part of the in-house teams until the Consultancy Target set by the client was met. Some of these projects took years to complete and in a couple of instances lead to employment by the client (see Veon + Trendyol).

COLLEAGUES FEEDBACK

"Daniel and I had worked together before when he was running the inhouse localization team at Aeria Games, so he was a natural choice when we were looking for localization support for GYANT.  Daniel knows localization inside and out. He's familiar with all the latest tools and knows how to deploy them for maximum efficiency. His network in the industry is as broad as it gets and he will be able to help you with project set-up, file handling, encoding and all the other possible joys of the l10n process.

All our projects were completed on time (or sooner) and within budget. At all times, Daniel's communication was reliable and proactive. It was a pleasure working with him and his team and I look forward to more joint projects in the future."

Stefan Behrens
CEO | ProSiebenSat.1 Games / Gyant

"I joined Daniel's localization team at Aeria Games to help create an LQA strategy for their f2p MMO titles. Daniel had the vision - and provided the necessary support - to push for this addition, in line with his strong focus on defining and tracking localization quality standards and KPIs for efficient stakeholder reporting.

His superb technical know-how and excellent knowledge about the available tools and their capabilities afford him deep insights into the industry and the ability to pick and combine the best solutions for any purpose, as well as to implement them himself as needed. Daniel's inquisitive mind and solution-driven attitude help him to always be up-to-date and stay on top of the latest industry developments, to achieve the best-possible and most efficient results."

Michael K. Schmidt
Director Localization | Audible

"Having worked with Daniel on a number of large scale game localization projects during my time with Aeria Games, I was always impressed by his professionalism, ability to assimilate information, and adapt to new challenges. His project management skills and strong focus on measurable results and KPIs enabled us to identify processes that were sub-optimal and drove the localization department to greater efficiencies.

Daniel was directly responsible for a large multi-lingual team of expert game translators as well as project management of various parallel localization projects, some individual projects with a +2 million word count. His knowledge of localization methodologies, processes, and tools grew sharply over all the projects we worked on together, giving him an excellent balance of skills and experience in both the practical application of localization best practices and the international game release cycle."

Patrick Wheeler
CTO | Co. Society

"Daniel and his team of professionals ensure that the localization of all our games reaches the highest quality. Publishing games globally requires a tremendous effort to maintain this high quality in all provided languages. Even beyond client and mobile games, his department secures the quality of all written and spoken words that leave the company. I always enjoyed working together with him for the benefit of the company, and wish him best of luck for his career."
