Registration is now open for the 14th edition of the Nordic Translation & Interpretation Forum (NTIF), gathering language services companies from all over Europe in the city of Malmö, Sweden, on 18–20 November. This year’s theme, “Human Relevance,” will address the question of how humans can stay relevant in a world increasingly influenced by Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Secure your seat, by visiting the NTIF 2024 registration page.

In her keynote address, ”Innovative Anchors: Holding Steady in the Winds of Change,” Sofie Lindblom explores the multifaceted forces reshaping our world, from technology and globalization to environmental and social shifts. With a decade of innovation leadership at companies like Spotify and her entrepreneurial ventures, Sofie offers unique insights on leveraging constant change for sustained innovation.

The NTIF 2024 program will have two parallel main tracks, one track focusing on core localization and translation related topics and one focusing on interpretation and media localization. This year NTIF is bringing back the popular “Think Tanks”. These unconference-style workshops offer in-depth discussions on various topics, running concurrently with the main program.  Exclusive for end clients NTIF is repeating the highly appreciated Buyers’ Unconference, moderated and facilitated by Johan Sporre from Ikea Retail (Ingka Group).

This year’s closing keynote is delivered by Anna Wyndham, Head of Research at Slator. Anna will be sharing her insights on the state of the language industry 2024.

The event combines excellent food, networking opportunities and late-night dancing. NTIF 2024 takes place at Story Hotel Studio, located between Malmö Central Station and Malmö harbor, with easy access to both the city center and the waterways, and only 20 minutes from Copenhagen international airport. The neighboring area of Western Harbor features the city’s landmark and most famous building, Turning Torso.
