France-based video post-production startup Aive has announced that it has raised EUR 12m (USD 13.9m) in Series A funding, just over a year since its official launch. The round was led by international investment firm Invus.
After uploading a video to the platform, Aive’s AI co-pilot enables users to generate new videos in any length or format, to be published across multiple platforms or channels. The platform also enables users to add subtitles or localize the videos into other languages.
Commenting on the funding, Olivier Reynaud, Co-Founder and CEO at Aive posted on LinkedIn, “We’re revolutionizing how marketers and creatives — at brands, agencies, TVs, Production Companies, Social Networks — produce, adapt, and deliver video content.”
He added, “With our proprietary Multimodal Generative Technology, Aive transforms any type of video with our Creative AI Copilot — from short commercials to full TV shows or movies — into dozens, hundreds, or even thousands of high-performance versions, adaptations, and summaries, tailored to every audience, format, or platform — all in just a few clicks.”
The startup says it has over 40 clients, including Procter & Gamble, LVMH, Groupe Clarins, Publicis Groupe, and is reportedly “30x faster and 20x more cost-effective than non-automated solutions currently on the market.”
Aive says it is running at EUR 1m (USD 1.15m) ARR, of which 15% is generated in the United States. According to Reynaud, the funding “will allow us to triple our team by the end of 2026 and scale across Europe and the U.S. as we industrialize our solution and aim to become the global leader in video post-production.”
“We’re scaling fast — and taking Aive global,” he concluded.
